Anniversary Gift For Wife - SL55 or SL63?
I'm planning on getting the wife the "silver Mercedes convertible" she's always wanted. I'm looking at a budget of about $25k-$35k and will be buying in the next 2 years (or maybe sooner if the right deal is there).
She would be thrilled with either of the SL55 or SL63 (has to be an AMG car because I'll be driving it from time to time
) but I'm wondering what the general consensus is. I prefer the front end prior to the 2009 makeover, but I'm also wondering what people think of the engine change?

Both are awesome..
You have to drive both and decide. There was a big thread on this topic but really they are both excellent cars. Look into a well taken care of car and keep it that way. BTW, I love my 2007 SL55 Performance Pack

Thanks for the feedback - I'll check out the thread. I'm somewhat limited by my budget I know.
