Anyone running a 20x11.5 rear wheel?
I'm looking to buy a new set of wheels for my SL65 and the manufacturer is recommending a 20x10.5 front and 20x11.5 rear.
I've had five other SL's in the past and I always run a 20x9 and 20x10.5 with the exception of one time where I had a 20x9 and 20x11. I always use 255/30/20 and 305/25/20 sized tires without any problems. I'm not sure what front offset they're recommending but I believe they were hinting at a 30 offset for the rear. The tire sizes recommended for these sizes were 275/30/20 and 305/25/20.
Now I'm not tire/wheel fitment guru but these sizes definitely seem like they would rub and also stick outside of the fender, correct?

I think that would be for a wide body, I think 9.5 and 11 is max for a normal
none the less, theres no reason to put those wide wheels unless you are trying to put on alot wider tires

I run 11.5 out back on 305/25 with no issues and I'm low. I will say I hate the ride on the 25 tire and will be lifting my car back up and running a 305/35 radial. The 25 is just to harsh, and constantly worried about bending my radenergie wheels, not to mention even with them being pilot sports I lack traction. I also run a 265/30 up front and it looks perfect but did run some when I lowered. I rolled my front fenders to correct the issue.
