WTB Front Engine Shroud
My c urrent shroud has no Three Pointed Star emblem on the front. I've been told that I can only buy the whole piece instead of just the MB symbol. Does anyone have a shroud they would sell? Any advice on where to get one? Been having trouble at the wreckers with limited quality. I have posted to some members here parting out cars/motors etc..

After installing the new one, I welded the old grill back together and must say that if I tried fixing the old grill first, I wouldn't have bought a new one. You really can't tell it's repaired.
I will sell the repaired grill for $150 shipped if you're interested.

I should have been more clear...
Thanks Greg but I meant the front shroud on the motor. My MB symbol is missing so you see the supercharger pulley spinning. It the plastic piece that looks like one of the fighter from the arcade game "Galaga"

You might try looking for another kompressor shroud, like the C32. Probably others out there that are more common than the R230.
I've read of some owners who found an emblem of similar size and glued it on over the hole.

I ordered a new shroud from MBonlineparts.com
I've been pretty pleased so far. They also had the plastic panels that go on either side of the rear window.

Will look at that site
Haven't popped the hood so I haven't been bothered by it. I will look at that site. I think that silver Benz symbol looks so good. It's the first thing you notice when you pop the hood. Thanks again!
