ABC , AC problems solved ?
After 2 years of ownership , hopefully both problems solved , for the time being at least .
ABC tandem pump overhauled with new seals , front accumulator changed ,
power steering hose changed , both valve blocks changed , fresh oil and filter .
As for the AC , there was a leaking pipe and an AC sensor faulty . both replaced and car is ice cold again .
Funny thing is , I got a new IC pump ( Bosch uprated ) and changed it on account of the SC shutting down after a long run . Still shut down once on me . Maybe a fluke ..
These cars are ongoing maintenance , but a pleasure to drive . Makes you forget all the bills .
Oh Let's not forget the vario roof which I had to fix 3 times . Working fine now .I decided to cut down the mileage a bit on the 55 and use my H3 more often .
