the factory drain plug (supposedly) should be replaced every time as they have Loctite factory applied to the threads. You can just put new Loctite on the old bolt, but it is highly recommended you replace the crush washer each time.

I believe the thread on the v12 is m12x1.5 and on the 550 motors m14x1.5. you can get them pretty much anywhere, amazon, ebay, local auto parts store, etc. All you need to know is what the threads are to order.

I'm always one to make my own, and save my money for tires and gas, so I've simply stuck a small round magnet to the end of the drain bolt.
It will collect iron particles almost as well as a 'manufactured' magnetic drain bolt.
But what is really cool are the Fumoto drain valves. Install it and never need a wrench again. https://www.fumotooildrainvalve.com/...l-Drain-Valves
I have these on my 'keeper' cars that need frequent oil changes.

I've ordered DIFF plugs from ECS tuning
the last one I got looked like this one (check to make sure on the application before buying) $12.95 each and free shipping if you spend over $25

hope that helps,
