SL63AMG Suspension and Ride Problem
Hi
New to me 2009 sl63amg
I am having issues where the ride is what I would say is really unstable over uneven roads - ie over small bumps or undulations
It shudders and is unsettled
AMG have told me nothing wrong but doesn't feel right to me
Have had it rodeo-d and fluid levels looked at - all ok - no leaks or any other symptoms
Does anyone have the same issue - ie is it 'normal' for this model?
Also is there a UK based proper MB suspension specialist - indie or main dealer that anyone would recommend?
Thanks

Has the car been lowered? If you take it to the bump stops, it feels and handles like crap.
How many miles? This is a 7+ year old car. You could be due for accumulators/dampers in the ABC pump and valves.
How about the basics of tire pressure? I run about 40 PSI all around.
How's the ABC fluid? If not bright green, you should seriously consider an ABC flush and filter change. If the ABC level is not between the proper marks (running or off) then it went somewhere, which could point to accumulators failing.
Last, have you had a look at suspension bushings, ball joints, and alignment? Bushings don't last long in the front. A string will check alignment for "close enough" and a carpenters square is good for a camber check.
Let us know what you find.
