Looking for OEM Satellite Reciever '05SL AMG
Not too surprisingly, the aftermarket satellite receiver in my '05 SL AMG quit working and dealer won't mess with it. MOST ring reset do to dead batteries and now ignores the unit. Company out of business so that doesn't help either. I have no idea how to make the MOST ring recognize it again either and dealer may have removed completely. I haven't been torn apart to look.
Does anyone know the part# or a place to get an OEM reciever, new or used. I have been all over the Internet looking for a number to use..
This aftermarket unit worked perfectly for several years so this failure is unfortunate.
Thanks

Yes but they show a couple of different part numbers for models that cover multiple years including mine. That's why I asked about the correct part number.

One minor thing to be aware of if you install the factory 2005 receiver. In either 2007 or 2008 Sirius expanded their channel lineup. The 2006 and older Sirius MB OEM receivers do not get the expanded channels, only the original channels. Depending on your listening preferences this may or may not be an issue.
