Is this the 'hiccup' I see referred to?

I have a Eurocharged tune on my stage 3 modded 2006 SL55 with bigger TB. I did not notice this initially but now that I use manual mode all the time on the transmission I get a stumble when under light load and during the 1-2 shift. I can replicate it by lightly increasing the speed in 1st gear. When it reaches 3,500 rpm I get the same stumble. It just falls on its face before recovering quickly. Is this the 'hiccup' I see referred to and blamed on the bigger TB? There are no problems on moderate to hard acceleration. It is taking the fun out of normal driving. There are no issues if left in DRIVE. Cheers.

trabots, I too get a slight stumble between the 1-2 shift. It does not fall flat but this is a bit annoying. I have not had any diagnosis done so curious if anyone else has encountered this situation. I have a stock 2005 SL55 but have changed out all the supercharger pulleys and went with a very slight reduction which did seem to improve initial acceleration. I have not had any tune work done but this was recommended in order to take full advantage of the pulley change.

Sounds like the same thing my stock 2005 SL55 does. I always drive manual mode.

It's a very slight hesitation/"flat spot" usually right before I'm going to shift from 1st to 2nd so yes, right about 3500rpm. It stumbles/falls flat for a split second which in turn when it recovers it sounds like I'm revving/blipping the engine slightly. It's annoying in the fact that to someone next to me in traffic it could be construed as being obnoxious - like a boy racer revving the engine slightly.

Does this sound like the same issue? I've had it for several years now. My car is a 2005 SL55 bone stock in the engine department. I have 115,000 miles on mine. I always assumed it was the compressor clutch slipping occasionally?

Hey guys, I too have a stock 05 SL55, and notice something similar
to what you all speak of. Although, on my car I hear a slight chirp
when it happens. I have been thinking its the belt slipping but have
not spent any time to diagnose it further yet. I did recently replace
all the pulleys. Any thoughts on what this could be?

the chirp is common and it is when the supercharger clutch engages. my e55 does it my sl55 doesnt
