Problems with SLK roof

Hello to all! Yesterday, after a ride with the roof down when I got to my garage, I press the button to close it, the trunk goes back as usual, but then the roof won´t go up, even if the system sounds like running. After a while keeping the button pressed, nothing occurrs. Then I switch the button back to open mode, and the trunks closes normally. Then I try again to close the roof, and the same happens again. I stopped the engine, wait a couple of minutes, open and close both of the doors, then start the engine again and try again but same results. As I was in the garage, I left the car parked with the top down, and came back half an hour later. Thes started the car again, and the roof operation worked well, as usual. This is the second time that this exact thing happens. Any ideas? Could this be some of the roof microswitches problem? I read some about the roof engine and the fluid that is inside, could it be to be low on fluid? How can you check it?
Thanks to all and sorry for the long post!

The roof hydrolic fluid is in the boot on the right hand side behind a cover.

The level marker is a ridge on the plastic translucent container.

And oh yes oh yes it could definately be those pesky microswitches.

Thanks for the info, I´ll check the fluid level but I´m afraid I´m going to have to go to the dealer to get those switches checked.

This definitely sounds like a case of sticking microswitches.
