Cruise Control issues on 2000 slk 230
My cruise control will arm intermittently at speeds greater than 60mph. When it does arm, it automatically disengages after a few minutes. It seems to engage and stay engaged at lower speeds. Just replaced break switch with no luck. Any help will be appreciated.

Has similar problem as described.
BAS/ASR Lighted up ,Cruise Control and LMT (speedtronic Failed).
Replaced brake switch. Lights went off and LMT returned but Cruise control did not work at all, even suspected it was intermittent.
Taken vehicle to Mercedes agent for transmission flush as routine maintenance also plug into analyser ($30-00 extra). Code showed up for faulty Brake light switch, but what is funny, the cruise control worked after returning from service and never missed a beat. I am now wondering if they had reset the on board alarm status when plugged in? and still after two months not yet replaced brake light switch.
