Just purchased a clean 2003 SLK 230. Radio looks like it has phone capability and I see a mic by rear-view mirror. However, no controls for phone on steering wheel.

My questions,
Can I get a Bluetooth add on that integrates with the radio? If so, what are my options.

If you look in my w203 build thread for my Coupe, I documented the retrofit of the factory Bluetooth into both our w203 and our r170 (and voice control systems as well) in a PDF file. There are some other options out there for it, but I wanted to use mb parts.

If you look at the SLK170 forum I posted a $5 solution that allows me to use my iPhone 5 with no BT required. I can play my music off my phone or the CD player/radio and when the phone rings I hit tape if I am not using my phone for music and I can talk from my phone. Top down in any system is going to suck.
