During the first week of ownership of the 1999 230 SLK I have had an overdue service done and almost completed painting the badly scratched paint in the interior. Used spray laquer after white spirits cleaning (console cover just cleaned), Decided to have the color in a grayish tint rather than the beige/tan original to better compliment the silver body paint. The horn buttons and driver's door show the original tint vs. the dash. Nothing disassembled, just lots of masking tape everywhere:

What brand & color of paint did you use?

Thank you. Guthrie-Bowron paint (a New Zealand company), custom mixed to match the cleaned up center console cushion but a slight tint of gray added.
