SLK/R170: P0170 and P0173I

P0170 and P0173I
I am new at posting but not new to using the forums for advice on problems.
I have a 2001 SLK320, 182K. Great car!!
Now I have a problem I cannot solve.
I changed the plugs, air filter, fuel filter. Check engine light was on. Checked codes. P0302, P0170, P0173. Solved the P0302.
Changed the MAF twice with new from AutohausAZ. Also cleaned an old on
e that I had lying around. I have visually checked for vacuum leaks.
Light will not stay out. All I have read says the P0170 and P0173 relate to the MAF,
Anybody have any other thoughts that might contribute to the problem?
