Sudden Rev to 3000 when started
I did a search and couldn't find anything that fit the issue.
This started about a week ago.
My wife's SLK320 will suddenly rev to about 3000 RPM as soon as you start the car as if you had your foot on the throttle when you started it. it is like a throttle blip in that it shoots up to 3K and then back down to idle.
The only thing I can say might be related about a month ago, we were cruizing down the interstate and I had accelerate quickly, to get out of the way of a Tractor trailer that didn't see me, All of a sudden all power went away, after I got off interstate throttle started working again, but there was about a 1-2 second delay. After shutting off car and restarting it worked fine no issues.
any thoughts on the rev?
