Vario Roof Squeaks and Rattles
Hi I have a 2008 SLK 350 which has developed a very squeaky roof. I have cleaned and treated all the seals with AutoGlym Vinyl & Rubber Care, which help initially but the squeaks have come back even worse - any ideas?
There is also a rattle behind the drivers side - sounds like something nocking against glass. I have checked everywhere and cant find anything loose. Has anyone else had this before?

My SLK was very noisy in the roof area. I treated it with Krytox lube (all the rubber seals). Make sure you clean the seals before applying the Krytox. I got it on Amazon. It's been almost 2 years and there is still no noise. Also, check through Google for info on adjusting the trunk. There may be some noise coming from there.
