Boot lid sensor location?

Hi does anyone know the location of the boot lid sensor, as I would like to test it as when i try to open my roof it gives a warning on the dash stating "close boot lid"?

Thanks Will

I think this refers to the sliding cover in the boot,it has to be locked in place before the roof will open.

No, it's a different warning. The one you're talking about says "close trunk partition". Mine has the same error he's takling about, that says "close boot (trunk on usa models) lid". I've been chasing wires and ohming things out for many hors and still haven't found found the correct sensor. When I find it I'll share. Good luck.

that was it. I actually broke down and ordered one just after reading this thread 150usd for what looks to be a $25 latch on every other car, but problem solved and the vario roof functions perfectly again.
