DWT_MBZ

Hi everyone! I've been a long time MB owner in San Francisco, but haven't been on MBworld so long that I forgot my username. My wife has an E350 coupe, I've been driving a boring Lexus RX ever since my 2001 CL600 (out of warranty) scarred me for life with it's constant and expensive problems. But its been a while, I think me and my wallet has healed. I NEED to get back into an MB.

That being said, I'm looking at SLK55's they appear to offer great value. Mid 20's for most at 50-60K miles and low 20s on 75K+. I searched and read every single thread with SLK55 in the title, the car seems pretty solid. But I'm wondering are there any owners out there with higher mileage 60K+? Can you please chime in on your experience so far? I've always heard that AMGs are more problematic than non-AMG but I've never owned an AMG. Any thoughts would be truly appreciated.

Basically I'm expecting typical German car issues. Ive owned in the past a W202, W210, BMW E46 coupe and a 90s 5 series. But what I am trying to avoid is an absolutely atrocious nightmare like with my 2001 CL600 which was my last MB I owned around 2007.
