Will golf bag fit?

Does anyone know if a golf bag will fit in the trunk with the top down? I have a SL right now and I can fit one bag with the top down and 2 bags with the top up. I am thinking about trading for a new SLK but the golf bag with top down would be a deal breaker.

A friend of mine has one and says he can fit his golf bag with drivers into the trunk
