2012 SLK 350
Tire noise
We bought a Certified 2012 SLK 350 one week ago. The front tires (so it seems) are cupped and very loud with the top up but we didn't notice it with the top down during our test drive. It sounds like bearings to me but several people have told me it's tires.
The car also seems to slow down quickly without touching the brake pedal. When going down a hill if you put the car in neutral it will slow down and eventually stop without ever touching the brake pedal. The wheels are covered with brake dust and the dealer tried to tell me it's normal for that much brake dust to be on the front wheels. Any help or ideas on if you think these issues could be related are much appreciated.
