Adding Wood Interior Trim?

I'm looking around for a nice CPO SLK350 (2012-2015). Most have the aluminum interior trim, and not the burl walnut interior that I like. Can the wood trim (OEM) be easily retro-fitted later or is it a major undertaking?

FWIW, I've determined that retro-fitting an SLK with OEM wood trim is financially impractical: As a factory build option, the burl walnut wood trim pkg is less than $400. However, to add the wood trim later on would cost over $1800 just for the parts.
