Can I add a back up camera?
Hello there. I just bought a 2015 SLK 350 and it doesn't have any type of back up aid such as a camera or even a beep indicator.
Is it possible to add a camera or some type of assist? If so, is there one you can recommend? I did find one online for about $22 that you install by drilling a hole in the back of the car and then the camera connects to the computer screen in the car. I would have to find someone locally to install it but wanted to check here first to see if anyone knew anything about this and also if it would void my warranty by messing with the computer screen.

Yes you can, Go to www.carid.com. Tell them your model, year, and they will suggest cameras that will go with your car. I just did that and I am waiting for the camera to arrive. For installing look for a Audio installer.

2013 SLK 250
Sorry for the delay, but was on vacation the past week. I orders from Carid.com, The camera is a Brandmotion Dual Mount Camera with Optional parking Gridlines. Item # 123836304. Installed over a month ago and working great.
