fuse 23 i/c pump?
Hi all had the car about 10 months now although it picks up well from start it never gave me the shove in the back accelerating as i got from my 95 mr2 turbo running 285bhp.
Now i have been reading about i/c pump issues and the fuse blowing, replace 5amp with 7.5 amp etc and replacing the pump itself.
Today i removed fuse 23 it was a 10amp?.
I can honestly say i felt no difference when accelerating /driving. So can i assume i have no supercharger engaging on my car? with the fuse removed? What now?comments welcome as always. Thanks Peter

look at fuse #15. in the 02 slk32 its a 5 amp, 03 or later its a 7.5 amp. also if you rev the engine to 2000 rpm or higher the i/c pump will kick on and stay on until the engine is shut off. you can reach thru the access door in the pass. wheelwell and feel the pump vibrating if its working. ifits toast you can replace it with a bosch pump from needswings.com or a cm30 pump from apeusa.com. remove the electrical plug and resistor from the old pump and solder it to the new pump. wrap the cm30 in a bicycle inner tube to take up the excess space and reinstall plug in and bleed the system then enjoy!

slk32 ic fuse 23
Thanks all for comments .Deffo fuse 23 is ic supercharge pump. car is now running without this fuse a 10amp. Car was out today for over 1 hour accelerating rapid from start and kickdown ok from 50 no probs .again fast but not as quick as my mr2 turbo 285bhp.cant see a panel doorway to well from inside the car .Will start tommorow and listen if i can hear anything when turned off.Be good if i could get to pump as you suggeset and feel it.

the fuse you need to check is fuse 15. the 10 amp fuse isnt the intercooler pump . dont know how else to convince you but 15 is the fuse. the door panel isnt inside the car its inside the passenger wheelwell. the pump turns off when the key is off. you will only hear the pump when revved over 2000rpm and then listen and feel while the car is idling

Hi Try resetting computer i did this and BINGO! Seems as it was being driven very conservatively by a senior person it stored this data and it refused to move from tortoise mode. You can find the reset guide easily i did ..turn ignition on with foot on gas engine off blah blah follow it and problem hopefully will dissapear as you are resetting everything back to factory settings
