2005 SRT6 Crossfire (R170) AMG V6
Unhappy SRT6 (R170) Supercharger cut out

Hey all, im new to the MB fourm so thanks for having me. Here is my problem... I drive a 2005 SRT6 Crossfire which was built with the R170 AMG V6, it has 93,xxx miles on it and runs great... however, I recently replaced my IC pump for the Supercharger because it was faulty after 50k miles. After installing the new pump my problem of the Supercharger clicking in and out is still occuring. I have ran all the codes on the car and everything checks out fine. While doing research i found out about the AITS (air intake temperature sensor) but yet the code said it was fine. Car has a single cai, 185mm eurocharged crank pulley, and tune. Im stuck, and really want to fix my baby so i can enjoy her again, any and all opinons welcomed... Just want her fixed . Now i have heard about people getting bad IC pumps back to back (it has happened to my cousin) so i know its not impossible. But is there anything else I should look into??? Thank you all

did you by any chance just purchase that ic pump, like in the last few weeks? from ebay? is it a aftermarket pump, the johnson CM30?

Ive checked all the fuses, all are fine. I have since replaced my IC pump with another OEM one and that was faulty. However, while the pump was bad the sensor went bad to so when I installed the new pump the issue kept occurring. I know the part number for the AITS, I just do not know where its located...?? I would appreciate that information! Thank you guys again

SLK 320
I had a similar problem, it was solved by touching up 3 bad solder joints on the K 40 relay (Relay Control Module) There are a number of posts on this in the SLK Forum?
