SLK problems
Hi all,
We've started a ticket system for AMG vehicles to help define common problems with our vehicles:
AMG Problem Ticket System:
http://www.mercedes-amg-class.com/problems.php
AMG Problem Discussion:
http://www.mercedes-amg-class.com/co...forum.php?f=41
If you are experiencing any problems with your SLK55, please submit a ticket. Then we'll have a database of common issues for specific AMG vehicles

I added to this. It would have been nice to have this database earlier, to better know what was going on with my stereo, like rather than having to rely on getting a straight answer from my dealer's service dept - they are pretty closed mouthed.

another thing i have noticed, check your driving or fog lights, both of mine are cracked. they are not due to rock chips, i think they are caused due to excessive heat and/or pressure.

Lighting problems too
My car is 4 days old and one of the fog lights is cracked too. I haven't hit anything or any rocks from what I can tell.
Headlights stay on too regardless of the position in off or auto.
