Auxillary port Bluetooth
anyone have any luck with this
I have the HK system in my 2006 SLK 55 & want to connect to my smartphone via bluetooth or some other means
there is a port in the glove box, I believe

after some investigation, I learned that Bluetooth transmission is amplified by an automobile's cabin (Faraday cage effect,) so I went with a simple male to male cable which works like a charm
great hearing my mpg collection on the HK system
btw, the Aluratek iStream unit works like a charm & I use it with my ancient but superb home stereo (loves my Nikko Alpha amp) as well as when driving with the top down ;-)
