Buying advice: 2005 slk55 amg (blown motor?)
First, thanks for any advice given in advance.
Looking hard at a 2005 slk55 amg in pretty good shape. However, check engine light is on and when cranked it shakes violently. Seller said possibly a blown motor, then offered to sell for $7,000. It has 100,000 miles. If it helps, vin is WDBWK56F15F057193
Could it be as simple as an engine mount that I've seen discussed here? What is the best case scenario and worst case scenario?
Would one recommend a slk350 instead that ran proper for $12,000?
