SLK55 AMG Florida tires - MOST MILEAGE
Hello To everybody.!
I am new to the forum and a very happy owner of 55 AMG.
Story short: Car with 17k miles on it replace the original tires for a set of Michelin Pilot Sport S/S3 245/35ZR 18
Driving in Florida 100% of the time.
90% city driving..few times have been in highway driving condition.
No burnouts..just usual fast jet fighter take off.
8 months later and 10k miles the tires are almost DONE
Even wear just the entire tread is almost gone.
The tire warranty 45,000 Mile Manufacturer's Treadwear Limited Warranty. WTF?
Please advise for high mileage tire. I do not care for: comfort, noise, grip, anything...just give a tire that can last at least 50k.
What mileage SLK55's drivers are getting out of theirs set of rear?
