I am looking at possibly purchasing a slk55 with some renntech modifications. I am buying it sight-unseen with little to no information besides pictures. My question is: Is it possible to tell if the car is supercharged vs. just N/A bolt-ons if I can source an engine bay picture with the renntech carbon intake cover installed? Judging by renntech's website, there is a $13k different value between the two kits.

Yes, the supercharger will be very obvious (sits on top of the engine block and I don't think the standard engine cover will fit over it. Pull up the supercharger pic from their website so you know what you're looking for.

I have the Renntech CF air box and I don't know of any other Renntech bolt-ons other than headers for the M113 that would be visible in an engine bay pic. Good luck!
