UAE decorated SLR
For National Day in the UAE it's a tradition for Emiraties to decorate their cars with UAE colors and flags, some guys go a little further.
This guy that runs the AutoTrader in Dubai spent 40,000AED (just under $11K USD) to have his car done for the weekend celebrations, (it was done at the same shop that does work for me and other SLR's that I've posted pics of);
The car was in the shop to have all the vinyl removed. $11K USD for a long weekend - and people say Dubai and it's population is broke, ya right!
And yes, this is another 722! I think that's 3 I've seen in the last month now.

No, that is the founder of the UAE, the late SH Zayed. National pride is very, very strong in the Emirates, it's nice to see. As a whole Emirates nationals are really good people and very proud of their country and heritage - being ultra wealthy also keeps them happy too I suppose!

Yeah, they do great work. I stopped by a few days ago and they had a brand new, right off the lot G55 AMG wrapped in gold foil. The work was so good that from a foot away you'd swear they melted actual gold all over the truck. Cool stuff.

National Day 2011 just passed, it was the 40th year - it was amazing seeing some of the detail jobs this year, massive money spent. One Emirati lady had her Beemer decorated with the 40 year detailing for... wait for it.... prepare yourself... 160,000AED! That's about $43,000USD!
Next time I go back to the detailing shop I'll try to get some pics of this years designs for you guys.

You should look @ other Arabs when celebrating the National Day by exploding their Land Cruiser 2010/11 in the middle of the high way & ditching it to continue celebrating in another car.

Being that the owner of the car is of Emirati descent, I dont think he nor anyone else here cares what you think. We all know that if there is a pot of sh|t about, you're in there with both hands mixing it up hero.
