2011 SLS - Dry Air Filter + ECU TUNE
Hello,
Great forum, been viewing for awhile. Any advice where you can pick up a dry air filter ? I noticed AFE made them, but it seems it doesn't fit the 2011-2012 SLS. Also, anyone on the forum have a first hand experience with Weistec with there ECU / TCU upgrade ? Thanks.
Attached a few pics of my SLS picked up a few months ago.

Hi,
welcome,
car looks beautiful, did you paint the caliper?
I did BMC Replacement filters, won't feel that much gain though on this large power band. however a good upgrade for sure, easy as well.
for tune I believe transmission tune will work best with the sls, however can't give real experience cause I am not planning to tune mine.
Thank You,

AFE dry filters are the best, BMC has had quality control issues with filters failing. Never had an AFE set fail on me, and the fact that it's dry makes it as good as OEM reliability and will not void your warranty like oiled filters will
