Haven't tried the pedalbox on the SLS but I briefly had the sprintbooster (pretty much the same thing as the pedalbox) on my R8 and it completely changed the drive in a good way.
From what I recall on the forum about them, they don't offer any performance improvements but instead make your car "think" you're at a further throttle position than you are. Say you're at 10%, the gizmo tells your car you're at 40%. When I had it on the R8 it really did make the car feel faster even though I knew it wasn't. Could be a fun mod to the SLS.

Never really crossed my mind to try one, I am a little apprehensive to mess around with the electronics in this type of car. I know my dealer isn't mod friendly, but many of you USA guys have dealers that don't have a problem with modifications. Let us know how it turns out.

My last car was not drive by wire so, my right foot felt more connected to the motor. I fell a little lag with all these drive by wire cars.

I feel the same as the previous post. All these modern cars seem to have lag, especially DSG and forced induction. I've put a Pedalbox in a M4, Golf R, and my GTS now. Much better.

I know it's the wrong forum but it takes 5 minutes to install/uninstall it (10 minutes the first time). Dealer can't detect it.
