Looks good; are any front fender changes (i.e. grinding of lips) necessary to get the clearance for the 17s?

can you give me more info on the
Eibach Euro-Spec Lowering Springs.

How much for a set? What's the EIBACH part # (model #)
How much is installation?

what's the drop measurement (front / rear) ?

Carlos,

I would not recommend using the Eibach Euro Spec springs. The main reason is because of the ride comfort is severely compromised since these springs were built for the previous generation SMART only available in Europe.

Going with the US Spec ones - they are a 0.8" drop all the way around...

Hope this helps

Is the ride quality THAT bad?
The US Spec doesn't lower the SMART enough.
Are there coilovers available yet?

Thanks Alex !
i only said Euro-spec because that's what you had listed in the very top post.

So, if the EIBACH US-spec springs aren't that great... I guess I'll look at the CARLSSON set-up.

Carlos
