Looks good; are any front fender changes (i.e. grinding of lips) necessary to get the clearance for the 17s?

The main reason is because of the ride comfort is severely compromised since these springs were built for the previous generation SMART only available in Europe. Going with the US Spec ones - they are a 0.8" drop all the way around... Hope this helps
