Smart missing in EPC

The online EPC shows a photo of a Smart on it's main page but it won't process a Smart 4four Vin no. Smarts, at least in the US, are WME and it not in the drop down list. Am I missing something?

Very hare to find out solution for your query and moreover,What causes the EPC light to come on in my 2001 VW Passat?

EPC = "electronic parts catalog" and your VW doesn't have that light.

It's because SmartCar has a seperate EPC network, not the same as Mercedes-Benz EPC from StarTech, uses same bases, but your have to be a dealer or a part salesman to know this.
