Do i need to reset my gearbox after change

hi guys quick question, i managed to find a gearbox for my w210 E55, before the change everything was ok but for some reason after the change when i drive upto between 3000-4000rpm the car pulls back like its got a limiter on it or summat, gears change nicely and smoothly everything seems good apart from the issue.. do you think the gearbox need recalibrating/resetting??? im confused

Go back to the supplier of the transmission---he must know the number or the VIN of the car that the transmission came from---with that information you can get the number!!
