Help replacing seat handle '10 E Class Cabriolet

Hi guys, I have purchased a new seat handle which reclines the seat forward for the rear pasaanger because the chrome is peeling on my one and it cut my finger.

Does anyone know how to fit the new one? Any tips should be greatly appreciated, it looks easy but I dont want to muck anything up. This is what the handle looks like Back of handle
Front of handle

Remove the seatback cover, should be two T20 torx on the bottom and it slides down/back, then the headrest. There are 2 or 3 bolts from the headrest area into the handle, you will have to pull the seat covering up a little bit to gain access, but it's not difficult. If you have a cabrio, put the top down, lots more space to work with

The handle has a cable that un-clips, and the headrest has a retaining clip to release it totally from the seat. Don't drop that into the seat, as you will never find it.

I'm stuck

Hi Joe, I've pulled of back cover but I don't know where to go from here - it's confusing as I don't know what's clipped in or screwed in and don't know how to take of headrest

Somewhere on the base of the left side of chrome rod coming down from the headrest, it should have a clip attaching it to the motor that lifts it. It will have to be removed and then pull the headrest up and out.

I haven't done one with a power headrest, I can pull the procedure up in WIS on monday if you can't figure it out. It should be some sort of clip in that plastic unit where the headrest drive motor is.

I'm wondering if you need to remove more things because of the airscarf system.. I don't really know. I always do them on C coupes, haven't seen one on a Cabrio yet personally.

Resolution

Was this ever resolved anywhere.
I have the same problem. Can't find any info on removing the airscarf?
