2007 CD115 - Diesel In tank pump failure
Hi all
Just wonderingif there is anyone else that has sufferred this.
The tank has been removed and is filled with small shards of aluminium.
It appears that it has run through the high pressure pump and destroyed it.
There does not appear to be any filtration between the tank and the high pressure pump ? The main fuel pump is after the HP Pump.
The local mechanic has seen a couple of these and the word from the Brisbane based HP Pump repairer is that he has had a few in the previous months.
Thoughts ??
