1969 280s engine noise - Ticking -
Hi all,
I need some advice really. I brought a 1969 280s and i have been working on it the last few months getting it ready for its MOT. I have been doing most of the work myself, but now i getting it close to get it on the road i have a big problem with the engine. The when i brought it i didn't notice this noise. I have done a engine flush and oil change. but it is still there. I don't really want to take apart the engine. The bonus is i have another engine to replace if needed. This engine runs sweet and doesn't sound like this. But i will have to do the engine change myself to save money.
So what should i do ?
Here is the engine running and you have hear the ticking. When you drive her it does get louder.
