Just bought a 70' 250

Just acquired a 1970 250 sedan 4 speed. Had to have it as I like the idea of the manual trans in a classic shell. Probably going to be a bit more quirky than my 190E 16V 5 speed...

Thank you for the compliment. I bought the car as a half complete project. The motor had been rebuilt by a mechanic who should not be one... So I have been sorting all the engine issues such as - actually doing a proper valve adjustment, replacing a 45 year old timing chain, reinstalling and clocking a distributor that had been installed 180 degrees out... When the kids and I drove her home engine was very noisy to say the least.. Now it starts instantly and runs very smooth. Thankfully the new suspension and brakes had been done properly and the ride is very nice and smooth.
