...my car has a multi-function steering wheel (do they all?) with 2 buttons with a 'telephone' image on them.

Is it possible to set up the phone buttons to work with a bluetooth mobile?

My car also has an aftermarket Alpine head unit (single DIN), did the original unit have some kind of mobile phone connection?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

multi-function steering wheel started with US W210 model year 2000.
