I dunno but I'm tinting mine. I can't stand the sun beating in on me. Warms up the interior way to fast.

I'm going with 18% or 20% depending on the shop and what they use. I had it on my last vehicle and loved it. No major problems with visibility whatsoever. It kept the interior so much cooler in the summer.

I realize this isn't "legal" in Oregon but I've never been bothered for tint before and don't plan on it now. It isn't "black" so it isn't that suspicious, unless an officer is really looking to bust you.

I had 20% put on a C55 with the blue glass and got stopped specifically for tint. The trooper estimated the darkness of the glass at 12%. It read 13% on his meter that fit over the edge of the glass.

Currently have 30% ceramic on the CLK and its great. A little light in bright sunshine but perfect for me most of the time. I kinda think about it like this, not that I am doing anything wrong or have anything to hide but that one time that you just don't need to be stopped, BOOM! there is a cop waiting to harase you about your tint and oh so you been drinking?

I have 15% all around, with the sunroof shade open duing the day it look like 20%. You get use to the tint at night over time. Also shade/darkness depend on your interior color too.

I lived in the midwest and northwest and Cops usually don't pull you over just for your tints not where i live anyway. If you being a dick when they pull you over they will try to get you with every violation they can find. They pull me over a few time for speeding but never give me any problem about my tint.

If you going to get your car tinted make sure they do something to protect the tint when it goes up and down. there something inside the doors that leave several vertical scratch lines on the tint, it a real pita looking at it.

And if you're black african american than don't bother tinting your window, no offense to black african american but they get pull over for just being in a Benz not to mention a tinted Benz

Hate to admit to it's truth. A buddy of mine drives a C240 and he gets enough trouble thrown his way as it is. Can't imagine what it would be like with tinted windows.

Huber Optik makes a ceramic tint that doesn't change the blue OEM tint too badly. It also blocks out virtually all radiant heat transfer. It's pricy, but nice to have in warmer climates.

I haven't and don't plan on tinting my AMG. The factory tint does the job. It doesn't really matter though, I always have the top down anyway.

Not that I've noticed. All of the antennas for the car-mounted systems are on the outside of the tint and no difference in my mobile signals.
