Interesting. I had k&n's on my clk but was careful not to over oil them and never had a problem. That said, I was still going to stay away from them on this car. I was thinking of going with Green filters but this adds something else to think about. I wonder if the price is for both filters.

Did a quick search....doesn't look like they make Green filters for our car. Is that right?
Anyway, I'll look for your report and what you think of the AFE's. If you like them, then maybe I'll go with them unless there are somehow even better options.

K&Ns are fine, of all the options they have been the safest (green filters have fallen apart in many cases and are not as well built). If you are paranoid just clean your MAS once a year with 91% isopropyl alcohol and you will be fine.

I agree... I have had my BMC's on for almost 9k miles and no problems whatsoever.
