Drive shaft bearing noise?

Has anyone had problems with the drive shaft center bearing? Or the transmission output shaft bushing? Or maybe the Flex Discs?

If so what were the symptoms that you had with the car?

If the center support bearing is bad you will feel some vibration through the middle of the car, if it is real bad you will feel/hear a slight knocking (ask me how I know )

If the flex discs have cracks in them they need to be replaced, jack your car up or put it on a lift and use a flash light to inspect them.

Would the center bearing make an intermittent vibration when it's going bad? I've got one from about 43mph-51mph and I'm thinking that may be the cause.

When my center support bearing went out I could feel a vibration and hear a slight knocking at low speed, basically @ take off. After I passed 15-20 MPH the vibration and knocking disappeared.

Is that a simple fix, center support bearing?

I am paying attention. I have a slight vibration right around 15 MPH speeding up or slowing down) then it goes away. I thought it might be my tires but they are only a year old.

I suspect it might NOT be the bearing since I still get the vibration even if I slow down in neutral (which should unload the driveshaft) which would eliminate the vibration. Nothing I try impacts the vibration. It's always there as I pass 15 MPH.

My noise ended up being the driver's side rear wheel bearing. I just replaced it myself. A fairly easy job.

Did you take any pictures?
Maybe you can do a DIY to help us all. That'd be great!
Thanks.

I can't add anything to the previous thread about the procedure. It's all straight forward.

Here are some pictures of the bearing that failed.

I have same noise since a year

I have w211 E220 Cdi automatic gear (now i have a noise with vibration in the first gear (OR before first gear)and you can also say it is from 0km-to 10km then it goes
yesterday I took it to your neighbors ( he is a mechanic but young about 19 years old )i am not sure he is a specialist i this kind of cars but he check it and told me that the drive shaft has a problem in the middle (like a space) he moves it and hear a knocking in the middle like a space in

he told me that it is the problem but I was worried if he isn't right because the sound and the vibration is very hard and I think it is from the gear itself or a clutch in the gear and when he check and move the drive shaft with his hand up and down the gear was in neutral

IS HE RIGHT A SPACE IN CENTER OF THE DRIVE SHAFT MAKE THIS NOISE???AND WHY IT IS JUST IN THE FIRST GEAR NOT IN ALL
