Keep breaking end links

Hey MBworld, I’m having trouble with my 2001 e55 breaking sway bar endlinks. I initially broke the passenger side endlink and immediately after replacing both the driver side on broke pulling out of the driveway. Has anyone else chased this problem?

Are these the plastic rod links which broke?
Do you have any photos?

When you pull out of the driveway you should carefully roll off the car if there's a deep trench?
Being too violent on the throttle something in the undercarriage could break?

I am on the stock plastic end links, no photos at the moment but I can take some later today, I’m always very careful pulling in and out of driveways since I’m lowered. People have recommended in the past going with the S210 wagon endlinks as an alternative

Plastic? My 1999 uses steel sway bar end links. It's still, however, a PITA to replace them.

I love the kaleidoscope of colors on your car zayed!

Did you have to modify the lower bushing to fit? I built some adjustables for the rear using the metal links but the lower bushing was the wrong size to fit in the pocket on the lower control arm.

FWIW, I had a creak in the front end for a long time. Eventually figured out that the replacement lower control arms were rubbing on the shaft of the front sway bar end links. Ground the arms, problem gone.

Hehehehe, always love to spread colors all around..,

yeah, really hate when having bad LCA bushings, they're constantly killing the alignment or even steering balancing..,

plastic link end rubber mount is (40mm), and the metal link end rubber mount is (48mm),,

i pulled out the metal end link rubbers, and compressed universal (40mm) rubbers..
