99 e55 amg mods trying to make it reach 11s

I have a 1999 e55 I'm trying to make it reach low 11s what show buy and any idea what kind of supercharger can I use I was thinking about the 2006 e55 supercharger would it fit and if so where can I get the kit for it and how much when this cost me

not be a debbie downer but to hit low 11's you going to be needing upwards of 600 crank hp and will have to make corresponding driveline mods. Why not sell, pick up a cheap w211 e55 and dump your money into that?

Seeing how this is the OP's first post I'm not sure how serious they are. They will certainly be venturing into uncharted water shooting for low 11's.

AFAIK there have only been two W210's in the 11's. "Ted Baldwin" ran a 11.90 and "James F. Cannon" went 11.86. Those times are a long way from low 11's. Ted was running a Kleemann setup and Jim was Renntech. There has been some M113 innovations since they ran their times (hi stall converters, valve body upgrades, rear gear swaps, better ecu tunes, tcu tunes, ported heads, etc) so there is probably room to improve on them.

A few people have managed to get the M113K supercharger to work on the N/A engines. Mike aka "MBH motorsports" aka "hooleyboy" was probably the most successful with his C55 that ran 11.72.

If you are really serious about running low 11's with a W210 the best bets (besides a large nitrous shot) are probably to look up "blackbenzz" as he has long had the M113 N/A 1/4 mile records with his CLK55. Or to do what "kaype" did and swap in the entire M113K engine and ECU.

I don't know if kaype has run his car down the 1/4 but it wouldn't surprise me if he had an 11 sec car. However a stock M113K is probably still not a low 11 sec engine in a W210 without some additional engine mods. I think kaype is the only person to successfully swap a M113K into a W210 and I'm guessing it is a LOT of work to pull off.

Blackbenzz was deep into the 10's (I think around 10.5) with his old Kleemann supercharger and ran a 10.0 with a Weistec supercharger. A CLK is considerably lighter then a W210 is stock so those times are probably out of reach without some serious weight loss. The W210 chassis has one advantage over a CLK and that is room for some real long tube headers. I'm pretty sure MBH sold at least one W210 set. They probably still have the jigs to make another set and that would help the car breathe better then the Kleemann CLK shortie headers which have some real choke points.

Any way you slice it getting to low 11's in a W210 is going to be pricey and require some trial and error and serious devotion. As jordanst2 said you will probably be miles ahead to start with a W211. Honestly I'd really love to see someone pull it off in a W210 though!!

Agreed better off starting with an already modified e55k. You can buy one already running 11's for 25-30k.

The next route would be a call to wiestech. Drop off car with open checkbook and I bet they can get you there.
