Is the spare mono 2 same spec as the front mono 2 on the e55?

I broke my front left a while ago and I replaced it with a spare mono 2 I bought from a forum member.

If in fact it is a different spec....should I be looking for another spare to replace my other front wheel or shod I be looking for a full spec front mono 2?

I'm asking because I'm having front end vibration that just won't go away no matter what I do....

Both wheels obviously look identical but are their weights same?

I am looking forward to being educated on this matter, as always on this forum... but I never heard of a spare MONOBLOCK II. My spare, and all others I have seen, are clearly not a Monoblock II but a black rim that is distinctly different from our Monoblocks.

Again, I'm sure someone will chime in and correct me if I'm wrong.

Hmm c43 comes with a full spare mono 2 but its a 17"

From what I remember this was a spare 18" mono 2 I bought

99 E55s came with 18x8 +31 monoblocks (front sized) as a spare.

Now we just have to find out if its the same spec rim.

I swear I heard somewhere that the spare is lighter since its not designed to be taken on a long drive

nope its the same rim with a normal tire

My 99 has the full size front as the spare. Part number is the same as the ones on the front corner.
