W210 AMG brake caliper rubber seal
Hi,
I have a problem withe the rubber seal between the piston and the rest of my brake caliper on one of the front brakes, ie there is a hole. I am trying to find a replacement seal, but I am having no success. Anyone had this problem and found a way around it ?
Thanks a bunch

Thanks for your reply,
It is impossible to find something in Europe, My local MB dealer said they could only offer a new caliper. It is rather ridiculous.
Thanks to the clue you gave me I managed to find kits available on ebay in America, search 143.35046 on ebay and several vendors offer it. Apparently, seals that fit the S43 also fits the W210 E55 calipers, I need to pay more in shipping than the cost of the parts in order to get them over to Sweden,, but still worth it and glad to have been able to find something.

There is no such part available according to them, they say the AMG calipers were special parts. As far as I can tell, the kits I found are not OEM parts,

These repair kit NOT specifically for AMG caliper only, they also for "C280 sport/CLK430/S430/VianoS",
if you only need seals, then you can get them separately with part #: "000 421 75 86",,

hey bro
maybe you've heard of the phrase Deutschland über alles, this means they have great pricetags on parts!
for citizens in european countries which are members in EU it might be even cheaper to shop from Germany.
for me it's a lot cheaper to shop from Germany than in Sweden when it comes to original MB parts.
swedish dealership has very steep pricetags on parts with 25% sales tax.
dubble
Germany offers something Sweden can NOT offer and that is a wide variety of lower price for original parts.
Germans has a much better business culture than swedish retail shops.
In Germany they have shops on every corner where we only have a few shops to go to.

Thanks, I never planned to even ask the retailer, but had some difficulties finding the right part, so I tried asking them. Buy 90% of parts on ebay.de
