Do you know what cell cats? 200 300 cell?
Drone is a humming or buzzing nose that occurs at a given RPM range when the components of the exhaust is change. The frequency drowns sound in the cabin.

There is a X-pipe after the cat's as far as i can remember
Did here any annoying drone sounds.
I was perfect for me
Just normall quiet on the back ground when cruising but when put your foot down nice v8 rumble

Thanks. Seemingly one of the better sounding video clips of x pipe and reso delete i have heard.
I believe my primaries are on the way out so this is my next exhaust note.

last week i had a look under the car to check the exhaust mods and i made a mistake there is no X-pipe in the system
there is from the manifold a single cat and then the mid muffler is removed
them pipes go straight to rear mufflers as 2 single pipes
if there is a X-pipe in the system the sound would be more constant and it would be more quiet on acceleration

I ran two setups, both with removed secondary cats & resonator. The first was straight piped (from the primaries) back to the mufflers & it was pretty raspy WOT & had just a slight drone. I then threw the x-pipe in & it sounded more composed and less raspy. I prefer the x-pipe, but think they both sound good & really compliment the 55s.
oke
I don't have the experience with a x-pipe on the e55 but only different engine's
I really like the e55 sound from this it is just like I should wanted
really nice
