rear brake issues, please help undriveable

I replaced the rear pads and rotors. (i've done brakes 1000 times). Torqued everything down tight and checked everything twice. When I go to drive forward they feel like they are dragging followed by a spot where it feels almost stuck, makes a pop (almost metal on metal like sound) than rolls forward. I drove it 5 feet and parked it, didn't want to risk breaking something. Any ideas what I messed up on?

I went with NAPA Altrom rotors on the front and had contact issues with the carrier. I had to shim the carrier and caliper to make it fit. Check to see that there is clearance between the rotor and the carrier in the front, and the caliper in the rear.

My Napa front rotors had the exact same problem and I shimmed them as well to fix it. I took everything apart, turns out the rear shoe shifted and caught one of the lugs and ripped the e brake assembly apart. After replacing it all is good now.

The front rotors from NAPA don't quite have the right offset. The outboard carrier was almost touching the rotor, and brake dust accumulated there, causing squealing and blocking air flow. I had to shim each the carrier with two .015" thick washers to get the caliper and carrier more centered on the rotor.
