It is the test base for the BMW answer to the MB R Class. Due for introduction in 2008. I think they have a way to go before MB gets panicky over the competition...

With the demise of the military grade G-class, I heard BMW saw an opportunity. Looks like Bangle's on it already! I must admit, I personally like this new design direction much better than the "flame surfacing"

Is it possible they are covering up the "real" car so they can field test the engine and such? That is just too...yeech to be for real!
