Couldn't find it via a search. What is the engine firing order of our 5.5L's?

If you look closely it is typically stamped on the valve cover somewhere.

Okay, I checked the passenger side valve cover and there it was: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8.

Then, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to look in the Owner's Manual. There it was again on page 451 - 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8. Good enough evidence for me.

W211 E55 V8 kompressor: 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8 (Why?? i don't have idea) "very ..... unlike :S desorder firing order"
